Sunwing offers direct flights from Gander to Puerto Plata this winter
Leading vacation package company Sunwing has announced it will bring the sunny south a little closer to Gander this winter with direct flights to Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic from March 23-May 11, 2007.
Stephen Hunter, Chief Operating Office of the Sunwing Travel Group, is excited to have the opportunity to continue the presence of Sunwing Vacations and Sunwing Airlines in Central Newfoundland. "Our first effort was on the Canada charters to and from Toronto and from that experience we were encouraged to plan a southern charter.
