Got an M.O. for T.O.? Conquest Vacations introduces service at Gander |
Gary Vey, President and CEO of the Gander International Airport Authority, is pleased with the announcement that Conquest Vacations will commence seasonal jet service from Gander to Toronto this summer. The route will be operated by Skyservice Airlines with Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday departures from June 20-September 7.
"We are delighted that Conquest will return to Gander after last summer's successful operation and increase their schedule over last year by 50%," he said. "Toronto is by and far the dominant destination for the central Newfoundland market, particularly in the busy summer season, and this demand will be well served by Conquest. There is quite an appetite for Toronto service from both tourists and Newfoundland expatriates alike. Whether you are vacationing in Ontario this summer, or have family returning from abroad, it's an ideal service at a great price for peak season."
One-way airfares begin at $150. Travelers can be book through their local travel agent, online at www.conquestvacations.com or directly by phoning 1-866-254-2511.
