The Gander International Airport Authority implemented a Passenger Facility Charge (PFC) effective July 1, 2001.
The $20 PFC is charged to enplaning passengers using Gander International Airport. It is collected by carriers at the airport on behalf of the authority and is included in your ticket price. The PFC is not charged to children under the age of two.
The PFC is used to fund renovations and invest in capital infrastructure at the airport to ensure a comfortable, secure and modern traveling environment for our passengers.
