ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Gander International Airport is a public use airport with two paved runways serving the community and surrounding areas of Gander. The airport is also designated as a transoceanic plane stop for aircraft requiring fuel or services for transatlantic crossings. The airport is certified for day, night VFR and IFR operations and is used by more than 120 international carriers and the general public. The critical aircraft and code are B747 and E. The Airport is operated 24 hours/ 7 days per week. Lowest take-off minima for all runaways is half a mile. Landing minima for each runway can be found in the Canada Air Pilot.
