PREPARED FOR THE UNEXPECTED. 24-7
As a vital entry point into North American airspace, Gander International Airport provides essential medical and security services in the event of in-flight emergencies. Gander International Airport handles all forms of diversions: Mechanical, Medical, Unruly Passengers, Operational, Navigational, Bomb Scare, and Hi-jacking.
Our competence in addressing every type of emergency has earned YQX the moniker, "Lifeboat of the North Atlantic." Our clients know that unexpected needs can be dealt with in a timely, efficient and private fashion.
During the September 11 tragedy, the closure of US airspace landed 38 wide-bodied aircraft on our lap, and Gander has received high praise for its role in assisting passengers and airlines in a time of grave tragedy. We handle medical, mechanical and air rage diversions on a weekly basis. In short, our track record speaks for itself.
Whatever the hour, whatever the need, YQX is prepared to fulfill it.
