Checked Luggage
Baggage restrictions vary by carrier, so check with your airline for the latest information on the number of pieces and the size of each piece permitted prior to arriving at the airport.
As well, it is advised that you consult with the CATSA What to Pack page to ensure that all items within your luggage are permissible.
Carry-On Luggage
The number of carry-on luggage items allowed per passenger is limited to two by Transport Canada. Please contact your airline to confirm details regarding the number and size of the luggage permitted.
As well, please be advised that there are certain items that are not permissible within your carry-on luggage. In some cases, it is best to place these within your checked luggage. For more information, and to find out if your items are allowed, please visit the CATSA What to Pack page.
Missing Luggage
In the event you arrive without your luggage, proceed directly to your carrier to file a lost baggage claim.
As well, we advise that prior to checking your bags you should ensure that each piece of luggage has identification attached to it. In the case of missing luggage, this may help the airline retrieve your items.
